An Honors graduate from the School of Art and Architecture at Cornell University, Melany Whitney, views her work as a Certified Permanent Cosmetic Professional as the culmination of a lifelong proclivity towards artistry, aesthetics, and dedicated ability. From a father who was a physician for 40 years and a mother who worked as a fine commercial artist for the The New York Times, Melany developed an early passion for health and beauty and, more precisely, the desire to inspire every woman's natural magnificence. This led her to developing advanced techniques in Micropigmentation.
First, and foremost, a professional artist, Melany continued her career in fashion/cosmetics. Professionally trained at the Fifth Avenue offices of Estee Lauder and Revlon, Melany succeeded as an illustrious New York City model, actress, and make-up artist.
Melany has undertaken extensive paramedical training and acquired impressive clinical certification. She achieved the highest accreditation, Cum Laude, on her diplomatic boards. She is fully licensed and accredited in her field by the States of Florida, New York and New Jersey. Her paramedical training gained her the clinical competence necessary to perform dermal camouflage for scars and burns, cleft palate corrections, and areola re-pigmentation and lead to professional associations with prominent plastic surgeons nationally including physicians at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York City.
Melany's credits include being part of the teaching staff at the prestigious Florida College of Natural Health. Beyond an extremely busy private practice, she also lectures, writes, and is frequently featured in the media.
